Eibach Pro Springs with Spacers
hi guys,
I'm a new owner of a 2013 BMW F10 M5, posted some pictures on another thread. As i am venturing into doing some small mods i wanted to ask you about Eibach Pro Springs and what size spacers i could possibly use with. I am thinking of 10mm all around or 10mm in front and 12mm in the back but of course would not want to waste money in the process. Does anyone have a similar setup? I have tried to measure the tire from the arch to give me an idea and it appears i do have some space. Some other mod i have been looking at is to buy the DTM rings and mod/bake the headlights, anyone done that or you have opted always for the unmitza headlights? thanks for your input. |

Thanks bud. Yeh I will look at those too as much as I want the kwv3 system it’s again something I can’t afford right now Long term possibly. What wheels and tires do you have? I need to figure out which ones do I have on mine as they seem pretty wide. I know they are 20s just don’t know if they are 10-10.5 or 11s. Surely that plays a part too. Also with those springs how’s the ride though, not looking to be too stiff as with the family and wife driving don’t want her to feel too uncomfortable. Thanks for your input I appreciate it.

So I ended up getting the eibach happy with the drop. Got the 20” 343m wheels on with 295/30s As my rear tires. Read others did 12mm spacers all round? No rubbing?

Didn't take any last night as it was quite dark, however will take some as soon as i can, possibly Saturday in the morning and add them here. Trying to decide on 10mm or 12mm all around or combination of both. Just want to see people who have the same setup of wheels, tires and springs to ensure no rubbing whatever choice i pick.

Hopefully your front settles a little. I'm interested in seeing pictures of the person using the Vogtland springs on their car. Seems like its difficult getting an even drop with springs

Yeh I guess that is why I believe I read here some people have place rear springs on the front and vice versa. Agree with Josec to really dial it down you need adjustable coils.

Honestly you can probably go with the 12mm all around.
My setup is the following: - H&R Sport Springs (-1" front ; -0.6" rear) - 19" Stock wheels with MPSS 265/40 Front; 295/35 Rear - H&R 12mm Spacers all around. With this setup I have 0 rubbing and I think I could have gone to 15mm all around without rubbing.

Awesome! Looking forward to seeing fitment. I wouldn't get the wheel alignment until the springs have settled (30 days). Or get it done twice, once during install, and again after the springs have settled.
For all those of you who want to check fitment, this website lets you compare wheel and tire fitment: http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.j...r%20H2%20wheel For this case, on the rear wheels, comparing my 345 19" to the 343 20" (and respective tires) you have almost the exact same fitment. My tires have a bit more circumference (+3mm). If you want to plug the numbers in, its the following: - 295/35-19 X10 ET34 (Stock 19" 345) - 295/30-20 X10 ET34 (Stock 20" 343)
