Afternoon folks,
So over the weekend I have realised that the Chrome grille and side vents need to be glossy black. I have looked at the various options from OEM (ridiculous money), getting sprayed (bodyshop won't do it as unable to key the Chrome so paint will come off in a few weeks). It was suggested that I get the chrome wrapped in glossy black. They quoted £150 to wrapp both grille and vents and just was looking for your thoughts or even experience with this. thanks |

Hi there,
Might I recommend you give it a try yourself, as they are very small parts and good parts to learn how to wrap. I did my side vents, with no wrapping experience, and im well impressed with the results. I removed the vents, unclipped the chrome, wrapped with proper wrap material ensuring the edges were fully covered and clipped back together. I cannot comment on the front grills as I bought gloss black, but I would say they follow the same method. Regards |

Thank you.
I am utterly rubbish at detail and don't have the patience but you have given me hope on the finished result. Do you have any pics of yours I can see? Thanks |

Wrapping will never look perfect It depends on your level of OCD if you can life with the finished look |
