So now that we're transitioning from Game of Thrones to Chernobyl, The question has to be asked: if the dragon looked at the reactor, would it die? Would iodine pills help a dragons thyroid glands? Will these questions be answered?????

Dragon would just melt the core, much like the iron throne - duhhhhh Of course, all the water in the tanks would superheat and explosion occur, knocking Dany's body from his fingertips and into the core, then she would rise again like a Phoenix.

But....but....wouldn't the dragon be radioactive for 1007 years? And what about his exposure to Cs-137????? That can't be healthy!!

There are criminals that run from the police and hide out around the city/reactor as well....the police have no intent of following them. |

In fact, such micro evolutions occur in many closed zones. A striking example is DMZ between NK and S.Korea. I have been there several times and listened to stories about the unique nature and unique animal world formed in this place where there are no people.

Seeing the outcome of these firefighters, wow. Incredibly difficult to watch. There cannot be a worse way to go.
10/10 can't get enough of this show. |

I'm finding the podcasts with the back stories and discussion of deleted scenes to be equally compelling as the show. |

One of my favorite parts (I believe it was episode 2) was after the officer measured the radiation with the dosimeter-mounted truck and he exposed the lies of the two government scientists (Fomin and the other guy). Shcherbina's response:
"Take these two to the local party headquarters, thanks for your service gentlemen." |

Craig Mazen addresses this in one of the podcasts. He said he didn't want the actors to focus on faking Russian accents which he felt would detract from the acting and the overall feel of series. In my opinion, he made the right call.

They talk about it on last night's podcast. They did spend some time on the topic but I can't remember much of it since I did listen to it rather late.
