You're both right. The older DME's won't send the signals that the nbt needs to show the torque and hp. You need to code the nbt to enable the display, then get the DME's modified to show the hp and torque. Have heard that if you're doing a DME tune, some tuners can enable this.

For those trying to just code (and certainly for those who have paid), it's not possible without a 3rd party DME flash for anything built before 7.2014. |

Just found mine in the menu as well but unfortunately, not operational. Like others, shoes 80 hp / 80 tq. Was hoping someone can figure out with coding...

I think this is covered on other forums but even if you get it working, it isn't real. It never displays any power beyond the stock maximum, no matter what tuning or modifications you have done. It's only tries to approximate power output display from a stock setup given certain inputs. There are also YouTube videos I think where people show where it gets fooled and displays incorrect information.

Just talked to bootmod3 tech,
He said “Not on the EU5 engine which is up to production date 2014/06.“ Probably wastegate is the reason but also dme is related. It’s too difficult to get sport display work if you don’t have it anyway. |
