I feel like I should have done downpipes but I hate that smell and I don't really want to put a tune on the car. I'd go catted race downpipes if I had some good feedback from the group here to tell me the sound would be comparable to catless, and that I wouldn't need to delete codes.

Now I need new tires... that 3rd gear spin is no joke. Anyway, Armytrix sounds great with or without cats. |

It sounds awesome without cats. I had my stock downpipe cats gutted when we installed the Armytrix system.
I love the exhaust, my only complaint was the control box requiring exclusive use of the OBDII port. I wound up capping off the vacuum lines and having the exhaust flaps open all the time (the default position is open when no vacuum is applied, the exact opposite of the stock exhaust). |

Otherwise, there is an old style box you c an get instead of the OBDII one. |

I just decided it wasn't worth the cost and capped the vacuum lines. Exhaust flaps stay open 100% of the time now. |

I’m considering capping the lines as well. The exhaust is almost inaudible inside the cabin with the valves closed. It’s quieter than factory at some highway cruising revolutions. Downpipe time.

Just pulled the line going to the exhaust off the valve, shoved a cap on the valve and called it a day. |
