Spectacular find! Not too many of them. The gearbox, clutch and driveline are magnificent and feels in line with BMW’s best efforts. BMW DNA is present in this car-much much more than I thought it would be after reading the various reviews, none of which hold water IMO. I found ours (‘15 comp pkg) the Monday before Thanksgiving. Congratulations!!

youtubers just want views and to be allowed to drive cars like this ..except tyler hoover, doug demuro, and tavarish .. theyre legit the f10 is the best looking, most bmw looking modern bmw since e46, and it has balls. big balls. the f90 is tighter and launches like hell, but its look isnt as classic bmw as the f10.. imho the f10 has the e46 aesthetics, just evolved and grown |

Turbo lag is basically non existent. Tire spin on the other hand, is ever present. Even with 295/30-20 super sports.

Let the tires warm up a bit before you go hard. I started to drive it like my e92 6MT and soon realized it does have difficulty in putting the power down when tires are cold. I'm on 20s factory ones still factory wheels and tires.
There are a lot of other conditions but this one should give you a tad more grip on your current setup. Yes, I've not seen any noticable turbo lag. But this is also my first M turbo car. re: DNA, I may not owned as many BMWs as some other members here but it definitely doesn't drive like the e92 and neither is it trying too, it's a different car with a different goal purpose.

1 week of ownership and nothing but smiles.
The drive isnt as raw feeling compared to my e90 m3, but this isnt an apples to apples comparison. 2 different cars with 2 different missions. I will miss my e90, but I'm in a different place in life now. Priorities are different as well as taste. I will own another E9x m3 in the future, but strictly as a trackday car.
