Youtube driving
Just picking up on what schrickm5 said in the other thread and what’s been mentioned in a few comments
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...re_article-top I’d never criticise anyone for the way they choose to drive. The people on here with M5s, all will definitely give it a bit every now and then. Does anyone in the U.K. actually follow the speed limits? It’s pretty obstructive and even dangerous to sit in the slow lane at indicated 70 on the motorway. You force lorries into the middle and drive in the ruts. On A roads you create a frustrated convoy. But these YouTubers/TikTok are a different thing. They do it to show off, they are 50% on the driving and 50% on the filming and they all seem to drive with the skill of a 17yr old in a Vauxhall corsa. They should deal with it in the same way as phones and drink driving. (i only read the DM for the readers comments) |

It takes some balls to drive that fast for such a long amount of time, what a knobhead.
I am sure the police could see who posted the video and go from there |

That was the main reason for Brexit. :-)
I like to put my foot down when its absolutely clear ahead of me - by this I mean I will slow down if there are any upcoming traffic entry points, I dont speed excessively that often and find it VERY hard to resist challenges. Normall speed is allways about 10kmh above the limit. From having seen the UK traffic absurdity in my recent visits - I am surprised you can speed anywhere, and I sympathise with you.

Couldn’t agree more. I have driven at these speeds at Autobahn few times but only for short sprints. It is taxing on the nerves to maintain such high speeds. Probably easier for some but I am under no illusion about my skills and prefer to stay in control. Not against having fun but there is time and place and first poster also correct about YouTube and Tiktok artists (most if not all of them).
