FRM Short circuit reset help
Here's the issue. I just acquired 2014 M6 coupe and just started noticing that my passenger door doesn't get detected when it opens, and when you open the driver side everything is good but the dome light doesn't turn off automatically, you have to push the button to turn it off. Same when you get out and lock the car. The light will stay on for a long time then turns off. I read the fault code and I get a 800ECF (door contact BFT line break short circuit to Ub) that cannot be deleted. I've done a bunch of research and it seem that you can't just delete an FRM short circuit code. You have to basically reset the module through coding from what i found.
Does any of you fellows have a clue on how to do this? I have bimmercode if someone can point me in the right direction. Also, is there anyway to code euro MDM and Comp EDC through bimmercode expert mode? Thank you! Last edited by Spacecpe; 11-15-2020 at 01:54 AM.. |
