My wife uses a french press. Not everyday but a few times a week.

I use a Keurig K-Supreme Plus 5 prong. Better than the single prong. At least it tastes like coffee now and not just water. lol

Got this seat, combined with tearing out the back rest on the 997 rear seat gave me a full 4.5 inches more leg room.

Looks good and a few green remaining sprinkles doesn't bother me really for the overall and compared to buy a new one price. The color was around 15 bucks incl. p&p and additionally around 4h of labor time, the chosen blue is a perfect match to Bluebelle.

Looks great and with the added bonus that you don't have to "break in" a new set. Well done.

Awesome, think of the money you saved! I bought a bunch of soldering kits last winter to learn on so I could do repairs. Now I just need stuff to break lol. I did make a water sensor for the basement that came from an entry sensor.

The helmet is plain glossy carbon fiber design, which is a perfect match to the CF parts at the bike.

. Thanks

It’s a Selmer AS42B. It’s a intermediate/entry level pro horn. He’s doesn’t practice enough for me to splurge on a French Selmer, so this one will do. It’s a joint project between the Henri Selmer Paris division and the US division. The horn is US designed(Taiwan made I believe) but the neck and mouthpiece are both Selmer Paris made in uhhhh….Paris I guess. Lol
He is trying for first alto this coming year.
I don’t have a great ear for music, but I was surprised how much cleaner the notes were with this compared to his older step-up Yamaha he was playing prior.

Thats a beauty!

Giving up playing the Saxophone in Highschool is my biggest regret. I played from 5th grade till mid freshmen year, and was pretty damn good, but was more interested in "having fun/partying" than waking up at 5:30am for Jazz Band. Foolish child.

You can always pick it back up you will never forget how to play.

Getting a teenager out of bed at that time is hard, it’s the same at our house.

His school Jazz band were asked to play at the Vancouver international jazz festival last week, and they crushed it. The best they sounded all year in my opinion.

Having a quality instrument is so important for budding musicians. When I was young I had a really cheap guitar. Hard to fret strings and barre chords impossible. Gave it up (well worked like a dog for years) and at 50 went and bought a quality guitar and started again. Then another. Well, now I'm at about 13-14 guitars. You kid will look back with gratitude for this when he is older.

Almost finished installing MoCA adapters in some of the rooms in the house. All my coax cables were outside the house, so I installed this box and adapter. So far the MoCA adapters are delivering pretty decent speed. I still have an electrician coming out to give me an estimate on CAT6 drops, but for now this seems to be working. I still haven't set up Ethernet backhaul with them, so that'll be the real test. But the Apple TVs are pulling down the max speed my cable internet delivers, so no complaints.

BMW 2002 alloys with tires. These are the factory reproductions sold by BMW and produced by FPS for BMW around 2002 and now out of production. I'm hoping to use them on my '64 BMW 700 Convertible—after I wear the rubber off them on my 1600 Cabriolet!
