Oil service due
Hi there - I have owned my F10 M5 for a year now and the dash is telling me it is due for an oil service. My local dealer is Berry Croydon who want £1200 so I was thinking of getting a local mechanic to do it. Is there a list of what is covered in the official BMW service I can give him? I can't seem to find one using Google 😕. Maybe it's a state secret.... Thanks for any help

If it's just engine and oil filter then it should be around £160-170 ish. I'm not far from you and I'd use BMW service for these only. I recommend Vines in Redhill outside of London area for good service, be specific and tell them exactly what you want with them to stamp your service book also.
Oil is changed on these every year irrespective of what comes up on the dash. Should add also that the M5 DCT oil is for life according to BMW and the diff oil should be changed every 25000 miles or sooner if the car is driven hard. Last edited by M5Rick; 10-10-2022 at 12:58 PM.. |
