I Bought The Highest Mileage F10 M5 in the World 207k Miles!

Hello new friends. I have just purchased a 2015 F10 M5 6Spd Manual with 207k miles on the odometer. Car has had zero accidents and was dealer maintained its whole life. It is in FANTASTIC shape for the miles and I am super excited to be the new owner of this beast. Anyone have higher miles than me??

Pics for attention 👀

1: Congratulations. 2: Holy Sh!t I'm glad to see they are capable of those miles. And I would think the front seat etc. would look a lot worse. Car looks great. Hope it keeps on running. I see your past cars, I have an e39 m5 and e46 m3 as well. Enjoy the f10!

Thank you! Yes, i have had tons of M cars. I sold my E39 M5 a couple years back with 220k miles. Other than the E60, m5s are built tough.

Congrats to this high mileage unicorn 🤩 most M buyers are scared of cars beyond 60000 miles, l always had high mileage M cars myself. The S63 is a great engine and if will last if it’s well taken care of. Do you have the full service history, I’m curious about oil change intervals and other routine maintenance?
Either way, you should be holding the absolute highest mileage record out there. And I thought I’m pretty decent at 100k miles 😁

Congrats on a great car. I hope your able to enjoy her up to 300k miles. My 2015 had 116k miles and I plan to keep tracking up the miles. Drove 500 miles this weekend so far. Car excels at trips in my opinion. I had such long legs on the interstate. So relaxed cruising in the fast lane for hours. ENJOY!!!

Congrats on the purchase. I'm in your same area, also like you, I love owing M cars. Are you daily driving yours?

There was this dude debating between two M5's. One of which had maybe 1,000 miles I think. If you go back a page or two you might find his thread.

Is there a specific engine oil that helps the motor stay alive out this far?

Nice car!! I am asking the question everyone wants to know but no one seems to have asked:
What oil was used in the engine (weight; brand, etc.) and what was the change interval in miles.
(many on-line forum debates rage regarding the oil that gives best longevity to this motor. 0W40 vs. 5W40 vs 10W60?) Many have toasted the engine within 90-100K miles and blamed the oil recommended by BMW...who knows; many other variables!

Thanks
