F10 M5 tire question
Hi guys:
I recently purchased Michelin ps4s tires for f10 m5(LCI) after installation, I noticed that the tire size are different than the factory tire size(265/35/r20, 295/30/r20) My current tire size are front: 275/35/r20, rear: 285/35/20. I just want to know does it have any difference when driving(Turning, breaking, suspension?) Any safety concerns? And the tire is none refundable, it that necessary to switch them to the factory tire size? I don’t go to track, just daily driving, mostly in highway, and the weather in my city is like 60% dry days and 40% raining days. Thank you for your time guys! |

You won't get the optimum traction with 285's on the back with the 35 side wall depth which is incorrect and may make the car wallow too much. I'd suggest keeping the fronts and go for 305/30 rears, I have that size on mine and it's more grip on take off and sure footed on the turns. This is on the standard 343M wheels.

^ Most on here including me choose the Michelin PS4S type for better grip.
It's optimised tread pattern grips the road in all situations, it took over from the 'Super Sport' which wasn't very good for the M5 and I believe is still for sale. |
