Anybody drag race?

Looking for anyone who races these and best way to adjust xhp to get good launches. I’m Stage 2 tuned. Thanks!

I haven’t raced since last summer due to differential problems. My passenger side rear seal had an unknown slow leak and the fluid got low and got too warm. Still kind of works but is noisy and clunky even after 5 fluid changes. New parts have arrived and are going in soon.

I’ll read up on xhp — I’m not familiar with them. Have you dynoed your car to get before and after numbers? I’m curious what your power difference is at the wheels. I don’t care about your actual numbers, just the difference between them as dyno numbers can sometimes be manipulated.

My car has a Stage 1 tune by Tuning Tech FS (Frank Smith). My 1/4 mile ETs are highly dependent on track preparation. I typically run 12.0 to 11.5 seconds at 125+ mph. My best 1/4 mile pass is 11.2 sec at 129 mph.

Ah dang that sucks! Hope you get it fixed soon! That’s a solid time though. I’m still fighting with hooking up and adjusting the torque. I have not so I can’t say the difference between how much it can actually put down. I can say though that XHP is a must and really improves how the clutches bite and the adjustment with regards to launch control and slip. Going to race again Friday night

Which track (or tracks) do you go to in PA?

Glad to hear about the clutch adjustments with xhp. I just briefly looked at their webpage. Unfortunately, it didn’t seem to provide actual **safe torque limits** you can increase to with their product/tune.

I race at Keystone park. Yeah it’s a world of help as far as getting these dual clutches to launch. Yeah I believe they list it somewhere in NM.
