Ahh. Keep us posted. Interested who you go with.
You'll be happy with either I'm sure.

What kind of numbers do they put out and are they reliable. So far I have found a lot of info on DME and most people seem to be happy with them. I am not trying to squeeze every last power out of the car I just want a somewhat safe tune.
I've recently done stage 1 with DME...loving it so far... the guys are excellent to deal with ... car is definitely awake when u want it to and got a nice crackle thru the exhaust now

Man love to see some dragy's. I only say because people normally who use dragy are stage 2 or just have crazy mods and I always wanted to compare stage 1 of different companies as well as my own.

did you specify to add burble when you did your tune? I have a DME stage 2 tune but I have little to no burble. thanks

Post F10 M5 Evolve State 2 flashing process... 1 or 2 DMEs

I've spoken to most tuners mentioned prior to going with Evolve. I liked a lot of them, but Evolve was the one with the most presence I could see watch and learn from on YouTube with their before and afters.

Go to their channel on you tube, it's interesting stuff and he walks thru each mod. Anyway since I got my tune, I sent them my 2 ecu reads and they sent me tune. They did some live logs while I was driving, they ghosted my laptop to be sure all was good. I only paid them once for the tune, they have revised it for my specific wants and 2 months later sent me a file for my EGS(clutch pressure) when I inquired about wanting crisper shifts. So my experience has been really good. I think their tune is modest and safe in terms of power. My car is my DD so I didn't want the engine pushed to the total max. They always respond, have not accepted money when I offered for tweaks and extra's. So I've got nothing but good stuff to say about their team. My only gripe is I live in America and they are in the UK, so when they ghosted my laptop I had to wake up really early. But couldn't ask for more accommodating company.

2015 F10 M5 comp/Evolve Catless DPs/Evole Stage 2 tune

A couple questions:
1. When you flashed your F10 M5 Evolve State 2 did you have 1 or 2 DMEs?
2. Which software did you use?
3. Do you have Catless Downpipes? If so, did you ever have significant fuel smell on Cold Start and Idle?

Background: I used the PC application "Femto" from Evolve (OBD to Ethernet cable) and the video and instructions say to read "both" DMEs if applicable. I read DME 1 and then attempted to read a 2nd DME, but I showed both DME reads appear to be identical (serials, etc). I wasn't sure if the flash worked, but after flashing 'only' one DME the Stage 2 tune definitely works. I do however have a significant fuel smell on Cold Start and Idle, and the idle smells heavily when the engine is both cold and warmed up. I contacted Mateen at Evolve and he took some logs and is reviewing to see if there are any glaring issues. The next step is to check for any leaks with a smoke machine.

As for maintenance, I still have not replaced the spark plugs and coils. I purchased Dinan 'performance' coils and NGK one-step colder plugs.

Thanks!

My understanding is that you need to flash both DMEs and that is what i have always done. Evolve will have sent your two files, one for each DME
