New 2013 Owner First Mods

Good evening. Just purchased a 2013 M5 with 62k on it. Only mods I want to do are cai, coils, plugs, jb4 tune. Car already had rear muffler delete. Future mods might be down pipes and Intercooler’s. Looking for recommendations on which performance parts to go with. I’d appreciate any advice. Thank you.

Why jb4 when the off the shelf maps are great these days? Do you have emissions testing?

JB4 is trash. Get a proper tune from a reputable tuner!

And get the right cold air intake, ones that go all the way to the grille. The filter in engine bay style is trash too, pulls in hot air.

Agree. It’s either stock air box with charcoals deleted with some drop in filters or front grill intakes.

Thanks. I’ve got night vision so it seems I’ll need a specific cai kit. Any recommendations on cai and canned tunes? By the way here are some pics on the car. Thanks again

Lots of people run the MHD & BM3 OTS maps. Both run great. It seems like BM3 is a little more popular.

Maybe the AFE carbon fiber scoops will fit behind the night vision? I have them with Momentum intakes but not night vision so I can't say with certainty. They're responsive, ask them.

I have the front mount intakes on my 2013 M5.
