Next week, now that CNC aluminum velocity stack filter adaptor is perfected producing a bunch next week ready to ship.
Now the other problem I have is getting filters without waiting too long. Right now I have enough for 8 intakes. Just emailed the company to see how long of a wait for a larger order for I'll be working on this style intake for the M4. M4 is at the dealer waiting for pick up. I know that market will be good. Not sure it will work as well with MAFs on that car. But I'm thinking will be pretty good for BMW knows that car is more modded by customers. Hopefully it will be more mod friendly |

Not sure had someone else pm me the same question but I can make adjustments. Will go to the dealer and see how the night vision is set up. If anything I can extend the filters a little further closer to the center.
Then it will also be about how aesthetically pleasing as is the power gains. I will do some research and see if it will work as is and what adjustments need to be made. The velocity stack is CNC cut out of a block of aluminum so all that needs to be added is further piping and still be able to get the right angle to keep the ram air consistent as original design. |

Looked it up doesn't look to promising but maybe the night vision can be moved in a different location. I will look at it and draw up some different designs and see what would look good and still keep its factory look.
I hate that it might not work for those with night vision but that won't stop me from trying to design a different set up. |

Inatke Adapted and More Gains
Quote:
Here with similar 60 ft and another week of adaption time showed a huge improvement. This intake is something you have to experience to believe it. No matter what I post in data you will doubt the true feeling till you have one. I can say the ones who have will speak for themselves. Here's his track times. Before intake best 12.0 @ 120 MPH After intake with only a couple days of adaptation 11.7 @ 121 MPH After Intake with another week of adaptation 11.5 @ 124 MPH |

I can say the intake made more gains for the M6 than the M5 because its more efficient do to no cats and muffler delete. Dyno runs proved it as well. Suppose to go Dyno this week or next week with Terry's new firmware to compare the difference. I still can't break 11.0's I guess I'm stuck there. Last edited by m6beast; 10-23-2014 at 09:41 PM.. |

For those who are asking if the intake will work for night vision, I'm working on an attachment for a customer that also has night vision. Basically it will extend the filter a couple inches closer to the center of the kidneys. Not that much but just enough to clear it so the filter can have the same angle. Might take a couple of days for a design to get it just right.
Will post some pics when I'm done |

Hard to do a group buy because I have limited filters and had to special order for larger volume. That said I'm giving all forum members discounted price. Those interested have sent me pm. I've been sending them info by email with all data, documentation, pics, everything they need with discounted price which includes shipping plus free install and Dyno. If too far away price is still the discounted price with shipping included.

Intake Verse Boost
Well my buddy who installed my intake called me last night with some new gains from raising the boost from 3.5 to 4.0 boost.
He reduced his 1/4 mile time by .1 second and gained 1 mph from going from 3.5lb boost to 4.0lb boost same 60ft. This shows how much power the intake is making. From just installing the intake and giving it time to fully adapt he knocked off .5 seconds and gained 4-5 mph. Good Job Man! |
