Can I suggest that you guys beef up the trailing edge of this lip. My busted pretty easily and Im tempted to purchase the replica ones with a fiberglass core because they seem to hold up better (at least in my experience with jl motoring over a arkym lip on my E92)
Dont get me wrong, I broke my lip. But it I seem to think it would have held up better if it was more robust at the edge of the lip that tucks back under. Just a suggestion. : )

We will absolutely look into this!
We'll perform a time and materials study with RKP, and also check if a modification in material will improve the lip's durability. Sometimes thicker material does not prevent cracks, but in some instances slight changes do help. I'll keep the community posted in this thread!

Jeez....90%. I have the ZCP also and I'm thinking about installing ACS springs to drop it an inch. I guess no lip for me Or, if I do get one, may have to be a tougher fiberglass core replica.

I would SOOOOOOOOO like to buy another one. But after breaking two of them, it's too expensive of a proposition.

I still need to replace mine, but seeing that you guys are on your 2nd or third worries me.
I wonder if we pack the small rolled lip with some form of epoxy, resin or whatever someone suggests into the backside of the rolled lip, if it would hold up better. On a side note, Ive had JL motoring, Arkym, and RKP. The ONLY one that had perfect filament was RKP. The ONLY one that I could NOT see any light thru when held up to the sun, was RKP. So, I do think its a nice piece. And I'm not trying to shame it or anything. I just want a stronger one.
