Awful timing for the crash as well. 35 laps is just way too many for mediums, if they box him now he should be out around P12 and maybe carve his way though the field on a fresh set. The longer they wait the more it hurts, they need to bring him in ASAP

Maybe they think Carlos can go full out on all those laps on mediums but the softs would overheat and he’d have to do cool down laps in between
