I have a feeling BMWs gt-r killer is just over the horizon.... Now if Nissan could just twin turbo that 5.6L and throw it in the gt-r that would be the business... Having the m5 compared to the gt-r sends a signal that the s63tu is a beast

It's a sad day when a two door sports car is auto only and a sedan is manual, and rwd. I'll have the M5 for those two reasons. I know it's faster but I get bored in all the awd dct cars no matter how hard it pushes me into the seat.

LMAO

That interior on the m5 is a piece of art but yet the gtr's ECU gauges are bad ass as well, if i had to pick one it wouldnt be an easy decision... Def a good honest review that the majority would agree with

Chris Harris is my second favorite car journalist for entertainment, he's the next Clarkson! Somehow they manage to give you facts about the cars without focusing on the spec sheet wars and you're swept up with the sounds and visuals on the vids, you share their sentiment and you feel like you are in the car with them. I'd like one of each too!

Nice review. I still find it funny that people were saying the GT-R couldn't be compared to the new M6 on performance. Well, here it is compared to the M5.

That should be a fair comparison. Both have similar power levels, and are 2+2. Similar price point (unfortunate, ain't it. GTR used to be so much cheaper). GTR is more focused on outright handling and speed, but M6 should have more comfort and better fit and finish.

Who comes up with these unfounded comparisons in the UK is beyond me? These are 2 different cars for 2 completely different situations, the only comparisons I see are that both cars have 4 wheels and a steering wheel, might have as well just thrown a corolla in there.

The M5 sits 5 comfortably. It's not a 2+2.
