My response was i don’t want to spend over $1k on something that you guys aren’t even FOR SURE is the problem. They were clueless about how to fix it until the BMW tech said run a test on the injectors and yup they were all bad! But if coils was the problem it would have been changed and fixed. But obviously it was a lot bigger of an issue then the coils. Don’t let him fool you! |

not to point fingers but before tuning a car there are basics to replace/modify.....example;
-check plugs, replace every <10k miles and gap them to 0.020 -replace coils if you get misfires still -upgrade clutch /replace dct fluid and filters -run quality injector cleaner -run proper increased octane (use octane booster or race fuel mix) recommended - If running JB4 use proven BEF - etc

I always make sure everything is mint condition when getting ready to do any kind of upgrade. But I can say these cars are so tempermintal when pushing the limits, I've seen several tuned cars from every kind of tuner out there with some kind of engine failure. In all reality it's luck of the draw with these cars. Good luck to everyone and can't wait to see everyone's builds as I'm sure we're gonna see some crazy builds sooner then later. |

I heard he went to Miami Performace Inc and got a bootmod3 tune through HCP and then the engine blew right after. He listed the car here for lease takeover and stated exactly this. Then he deleted it.

Long story short yes that is what happen, still wouldn't recommend DME just my opinion. That car has been gone for months got the F90 and can carless about all the gossip you guys love to do on here. But can for sure say MPI service sucked compared to Above&Beyond Performance that's a fact.

activeautowerke, did my stage 2 flash, have fabworx DP, BMC filters, Akro full exhaust and 93oct. I couldn't be happier with the results and customer service i got. Before was with tuner Motorsports piggyback
