This is almost refreshing. Nice to see somebody who actually wants an M5 these days with so many people buying the F80's. Lol!

We have suspension, intake and an exhaust system in the works. Our DINANTronics Stage 1 Tuner is out now (see: http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1036115)!
We'll post updates on F80 product as it comes together. |

After watching the video, I am planning to do a S2 on my F10 M5 CP next spring at my local BMW dealer and thanks to Dinan engineering.

Love this video like others have said.
Dinan gets hated on a lot on this and other forums, but something that is often not brought up is how adding Dinan parts to a BMW (particularly an entire package like this S1 they are advertising) actually seems to hold value on used BMW's, at least on older ones. Take the e39 M5. If you happen to have one of the full packaged Dinan versions, they actually hold onto value over time. I do not mean to hate on any other tuners as I see great value in them, but if I were looking to buy a used f10 M5, and one had a JB4-style tune with other hodge podge add ons, the Dinan version wins all day long. I know we do not buy products just for their resale value, but it is not an insignificant point in my opinion. Just my $0.02. If I could afford a fun Dinan upgrade to even my meager e90 330i, I would do it.

Set up the appt for Monday morning! Can't wait... It was 675 hp ... now 693!! Question for Dinan: Does this update fix the MAF sensor problem with the carbon fiber air intake? |

I have an e92 Dinan S1 M3 and every time I get into that car, it makes me feel alive! The tune, suspension, and motor have just the right amount of refinement to surpass the factory configuration, but not be overbearing. Dinan wins all day! Hopefully, if/when I can get my hands on the M2 (in the future), I'll be upgrading it to an S1 for sure

What a terrific example of passion and proof the best sales person is an honest one, who does something because they love what they do. You can clearly see there was no sales pitch in that video, and I could listen to that 10x's over.

Great video and review
The more I drive my car the more I am amazed at how much better the car is from stock. The power delivery is much smoother with a huge torque bump in the midrange. The car simply feels more planted with flatter cornering and far less roll. The steering also feels more "direct" and feels more connected to the road. I am very impressed with the Dinan S1 package on my car and highly recommend.

Excellent Video
What a great video and inside look at Steve's personality and passion. I had a unique opportunity over a year ago Feb/Mar 2013 (sorry can't remember exact date). Dinan had posted they were looking for 550i M sport to test and needed a car at the HQ. I live in LA and figured why not.
I spent the day in Morgan Hill and they gave me a cubicle so I could work and make phone calls. Scott Leandres was great and he tells me Steve would like to meet me. He has heard about me and knows I have an extensive drag racing background. Next thing I know I'm with Steve testing a Stage 4 550i with him driving and then me. I don't fancy myself a great guy in the corners and turns but can hold my own, however, Steve can drive and it's a thing of beauty. It was humbling for me and awesome at the same time! What you see in the video is what you get. Steve is passionate and pours his heart and soul in the company. Spending time with him gave me unquie insight and he is a true car guy through and through...he is just like us but gets to live and breathe his passion of cars everyday. Steve gave me a shop tour as well and his facility is impressive. Not only is he an engineer he is a visionary and cares deeply about the brand and quality of products. I own a manufacturing company and Steve and I were completely in tune with similar philosophies and concepts of quality, service and customer enjoyment. One of the things both Steve and Scott asked me is if I would give an unbiased opinion of what they do. They were a bit disappointed in the perception online and on the forums. So I hope the above will lend some credence to the fact Steve and his people make Dinan a great company and we should be thankful for their continued commitment and drive to make BMW's better than they come from the factory. Steve, Scott and the Dinan family of employees I'm sorry this is a little late. I believe I did share my thoughts last year but felt compelled to write this today. Thank you for your commitment to excellence! My 550i was totaled when a driver ran a red light and I'm looking forward to buying a M5. I can't wait to see you all again when I'm ready to upgrade! All the best! FYI, I was not paid and hard to give an unbiased point of view when you walk away totally impressed with the people and company. If you ever get a chance to visit Dinan HQ and spend time with Steve and his people you will see what I mean and seeing is generally believing. Eric R Gustafson |

Anyone with a F10 Dinan S1 in Central NJ area to get a ride in. I am thinking of getting package but need to see/ ride in one in person. If you have Dinan coilover kit installed that would be very helpful.
