[QUOTE=RPiM5;19595697]
When I got up to Niagara Falls, it was -5 degrees F outside and I have never felt that kind of cold before. The whole time I was in Toronto it felt like -30 degrees with the wind chill factor. Every morning, I would get the battery low charge warning on the M5, and prayed that there was enough juice to start the engine, thankfully there always was. Toronto was cool, but I thought that everyone drives like maniacs there. They have really tough driving laws in Canada, but it seemed to me like no one cared and I never saw the police pull anyone over. Might have been too cold for them to get out of the car lol The drive up the Trans-Canada highway was scenic and cold. I stopped in Sudbury, Canada to gas up and get some food, there was still a ton of snow everywhere, luckily all the roads were well plowed and the weather was sunny. While on the Trans-Canada highway, I stopped a local store to get a snack and take some shots with the M5 and some Snowmobiles parked outside. I walked in there and the guy behind the counter said to me "Oh, yer not from around here eh?" Lol! I bought a couple of souvenirs and jetted. I reached Sault Ste. Marie in good time, but the Canadian police were following me around for a while. Probably not, there are plenty of high-end cars in Ontario, I mean after all, Toronto was rated #1 city in the world to do business.They must have been checking the M5 out. Crossed the border back into the U.S. without any problems (was worried about the straightpipes) and stopped to get some American food. That was one thing I noticed up there in Canada, that there weren't really any good places to eat. Up here surrounded by Igloos and Grizzlies? Did you even see an Italian restaurant in Toronto? I mean there are only 1 000 000 Italian-Canadians living there.... Oh yeah American food I think there was a few Wendy's on ur travel path lolAnyways, I hit the road and what do ya know it started to snow quite a bit again. I took a short cut between 2 major highways and ended up going through the Hiawatha State Forest in upper Michigan. What a beautiful place in the winter. Of course it was only me out there, so DSC button came off and I was off to drifting in the snow for the next 50 miles. Absolutely too much fun! AWD my ass, the M5 doesn't need it! 100% right, M5 is a balanced car in the snow with aggressive snows |

The car has been at the dealer for the past week now. I'm getting some repairs that were caused by damage from the roadtrip. Mainly the salt. After I get it back, I just have a couple of more preventative maintenance items and then I can really open her up. Love the cold start delete though! Haha!
