I would never put them on my DD, not needed. Who would track a big boat like the M5 or Panamera? Tracking the car is the only way to see the benefits of ceramic brakes(less brake fade).

Composite brakes are carbon ceramic not carbon fiber!

Anyone else notice the Porsche Pan. Turbo S, weighs in at about 4,100 and some left over Chubs? That things pretty damn quick.. Saw that little sucker take corners like nothing at mulholland.
Regardless.. I can not wait to see the F10 take on some badass cars =). |

You see this people? As I said the V10 is possible, either for the Z8/Z10 or the hard core M5. And if there may be V10, then there might also be V8, either for the M3 or the hard core M3, or even the entry level engine for Z8/Z10. Thanks Scott for the info! Summury: BMW M5 Sedan (F10) 578 PS KERS CF Roof Ceramic Brakes 8 Speed DCT M5 "CSL" coming This for sure shows what the next M3 F32 will be like: Ceramic Brakes 8 Speed DCT M3 CSL coming If only it could be high reving like the McLaren MP4-12C as FI or the Ferrari 458 Italia if as NA. I will wait for the reviews and a test drive but this sounds like it could be my next ride.
Glad they are offering a carbon fibre roof on the next m5--I would loved it as an option on my e90. I am highly doubtful about the sound being as good as the v10. The power of the new m5 will be great but from all my reading, turbos tend to kill the engine note. |

They might be a supplier. Either way the discs themselves are probably from The SGL Group, they partnered with Porsche in development and supply to Brembo as well. http://www.sglgroup.com .
