If the above is achieved then I would call it a success. Else, it's an expensive experiment! Last edited by allmotor_2000; 05-21-2018 at 04:15 PM.. |

What are you doing for exhaust? You told me oem was fine but oem is 2.5" and the turbo outlets are 3", not to mention the oem doesnt gave an x pipe. I would think a 3" turbo to mufflers with an xpipe would be beneficial.

Flow wise it's not a good idea to have it both out of the hood and the downpipe... it's one or the other.

I love your style... why not... What a cool project - I'm having fun watching your build thread.
So you're in WLV... great place to live. I'll keep an eye out for your car when it's back on the road! .

Guess I can share 2 awesome builds going on from my local repair shop Autohaus Frankfurt.
1 of these 2 engine builds is for the F8X side but both are being done by Steve Dinan "SD Autotech" Most pics are of the F80 M3. Engine being sent out next week. Crank is being keyd during disassembly, CP pistons, rods, camshafts, and every bolt on option available. All CSF cooling parts, Clutchmasters clutch kit, fuelit port injection.. all other details that will come out later. Black/White pic is S63TU "F10 M5" engine received back from SD Autotech. Cant go into details on build spec yet but both will have full write up's soon. |
