Curious - what tune/exhaust did you go with?

I'm seriously considering a 15 TTS; found one with the right mix of options and ridic low mileage which I'm close to pulling the trigger on.

Nearly new fully loaded 650s spider with £40k off list is looking favourite.... Someone tell me I'm nuts and I should keep the Porsche or get the new TTS...?!?: will I get clobbered financially more on this than I would on a new TTS bearing in mind the 650s replacement is just round the corner...?

I'm going to see the 650s this week and fear the numbers will work out and I do a deal and trade in the Porsche on an impulse...

I went with ByDesign (retailer) and the Kline Catless along with Cobb AP for the tune.. generally the best numbers have come from Cobb and catless exhaust. I chose Kline because I liked the note.

If this is not DD car I would pick 650S.
Lambo is getting more and more common,
Porsche is... just a porsche more common than skoda in europe.
McLaren is the most exotic here (and the best perfromance)

But,
If this should be DD car - 991.2 TS would be my choice:
- best balance between performance and comfort, AWD best for daily use etc.

Wish i had the same dilemma

Easy choice 650S over Huracan for pure speed/control. Huracan for sound but that was it for me. Huracan is built better than McLaren. Mostly minor stuff but even had them with my 675LT.

Just got a new 2017 TTS Cab. Freaking amazing. I always end up back in a Porsche. Throw on a Tubi exhaust and you're done.

thanks for your input. looking very much like it will be a 2016 650s spider with only 500 miles on the clock.

what type of issues did you have with your 650s? i've heard a few complain about the 675 being in the workshop more than the road and a few teething problems with the 12C, but curious what to be aware of with the 650s.

Lots of stuff. Coolant leaks (twice). My buddy just had this happen to him as well (as did many others). Electrical things. Common issue is the lighting fading on the air conditioning controls on the doors. Doors not closing well. Airbrake getting stuck in the fully upward position. LOADS of issues with the IRIS., etc.

I had less issues with my 675LT.

Oh shit.. Not much then!! Were mclaren good with sorting the issues out quickly and painlessly?

Are new 2016 models still prone to these problems or did they not improve them or update software to prevent them?

So you got a brand new 650s after all the issues couldn't be fixed ?

McLaren is McLaren. Fun to drive. Not greatest build quality. Same stuff different year-lol! Truly enjoying the Ferrari experience.
