Florida dealer in Coconut Creek has a 2013 M6 convertible with a market value increase of 25k. It is legal and they will do it where they can.

Wow - and I thought I could have a great European vacation on $13K in savings! Imagine what kind of vacation I could have with the extra $15K (28K in total) I just saved by not buying from this dealer!
Does BMW make watercraft? I might need to spend my savings on a boat to re-import. |

Capitalism.. I say get all you can.. If the dealer can get someone to pay a million dollars good for them.. After some negotiating; I got the $6300 ED discount on an order I placed today and was happy to get that.. maybe I'm the shmuck who pays to much though.. lol

For $25k over sticker on a $125k M6 vert, one could get a Maserati or SL63 for that kind of cash! Not worth it when you can order from any dealer in the country at MSRP and do a PC delivery! |

In the SF Bay area, $10-$20K markups were common on the E60s that could be found on showroom for the first ~six months. But those were different times. I agree that asking for huge markups now is prob just a way to keep the car on the floor for a while.
I dropped off my E60 at East Bay (Concord) dealer yesterday (for potential VANOS problem--- just what I need) and they had a MCB F10 on the floor from a "deal that fell through." Salesman said they would sell for MSRP. |
