Got the car inspected by Performance Technic out in Fremont, CA. Great shop and great people! Nothing was wrong with the car but just wanted to see how it's been holding up overall. Car passed easily, tires and rear pads coming soon 😅

Replaced upper oil pan gasket - love my warranty!
Brought my car in last week for what I thought was going to be routine oil change. I was also seeing a little oil around the turbo coolant lines, right where they go under the engine cover, so I asked that to be checked as well.
I casually mentioned to my SA that like many M5s I read about online, mine was consuming a quart of oil about every 1,000 miles. He said that didn't sound normal, and they would do a thorough check. Next day I get a text saying that the upper oil pan gasket was found to be "actively leaking," forming drips in the tray. $3,074 later I have a new gasket, and all new seals, bolts, screws, o-rings, and nuts. The area was cleaned and then test driven 5 miles to verify no further leaks. All covered by the extended warranty, minus my $200 deductible. It'll be interesting to see if that was the cause of the oil drain. In 18 months driving my M3, I added 1 qt of oil. So we'll see. And rightfully so, they charged me for the oil (0W30) and filter, but not the labor to put it in My extended warranty is definitely my new best friend, having saved me about $8,000 in the past three months. That's $2k more than it cost, and I'm barely into the 4 yrs/50k miles of coverage.

Took my car in to the dealership to reset the emissions monitors because the Heated Catalyst, Secondary Air System and AC Refrigerant monitors didn't complete. Curious what they are going to do to force them, the tech said it shouldn't be an issue, we'll see what they come up with tomorrow hopefully.
