Agreed, and Sherry casks as well, though I have more experience with Scotch finished these ways than Bourbon.

Since it's a holiday weekend, I partook of a bit of 1986 Laberdolive Bas Armagnac last night. Very tasty, but I think I'm still more a fan of Jouanda at half the price (when I can find it).

Picked this up when we were in Croatia last April. I settled in for a few sips of it, it is supposed to be great and a local favorite. I about choked on the stuff, it was not to my liking lol. Being of Polish descent I am a stingy drinker, so I choose Heineken Silver for beer and if I drink hard stuff it is usually cognac or a margarita made with Anejo/Cointreau/agave/fresh lime juice and nothing else.

Chattanooga is one of my favorite Distilleries, they put out some good stuff.
That 111 is always at my house, great for cocktails or on its own.
