Picked these bottles up last week. I had heard of the Kentucky owl brand but hadn't seen the Wiseman stuff before. I really like the rye one.

Has anyone here had Brass & Anchor by Whiskey Warriors? I’m looking for a gift for the hubby, it’s our 21st in October so the “brass” name goes with the anniversary theme, but it’s a gamble since we’ve never tried it and I’ll have to order online. Did you enjoy it? Is it worth a try? My hubby likes smoky but not peaty whiskey/bourbon.
Thanks in advance 😊

Haven't heard of this, but looks like you can order online direct. Congrats on your 21st. https://shop.warriorsandwhiskey.com/

Did a comparison taste of Michter's heritage editions. I'm going against the common consensus grain and saying I like Shenk's much more than Bomberger's

How is that bardstown?

We love the wheated and the amrut. We recently opened the kbs stout finish and are less than impressed.

Our joke has been to call it a Fat Kid whiskey. It's a very decedent pour, sweet and full. We tried it up against the new Disco 13, and while the Disco 13 was great this Ferrand hit the spot more for me.

For about the same price as the 1738, Delord has an XO Bas-Armagnac that I heartily recommend. Not as easy to find, but better value (to my taste, anyway) than the famous houses. Check it out if you stumble across it!
