Great photos, love the black on black, but why are you not out surfing?
Then followed up by a pic from somewhere near the 4 Seasons in Maui...one of my all time favorite places in the world Dammit! (use my M5 as a windsurf/surf wagon weekly!) First world issues...:-) Cheers stu |

First time around the Ring, in the wet, with a brand new ED car? The wife looks calm in the picture, did you have any scares during the session? I'd love to do that one day.

One was a tight right hander where the pavement was polished and ice-like in its friction properties. Dial in the right steering and stay off the brakes - pray a bit - hook up near the curb - take it slower next time. Another was rolling on a bit too much throttle in 3rd to complete an overtake before the next corner. Got a bit sideways, which was more embarrassing than anything else. Wife likes this sort of thing and (for some reason) trusts my driving. I hope you find the chance to do this. It's truly a life event for petrolheads! |

Dudes, took a bunch more shots this weekend. I think my photgraphy skills are starting to improve. Black is such a hard color to shoot!

You may want to play / adjust around with the exposure and aperture for your pics
But nice shoots in any case

I haven't begun to mess around with RAW yet. I don't know if I even have the software to utilize it. I'm just trying to practice with the camera's regular settings first before I get advanced.

Best trick I ever learned... Never shoot with sun directly over head. That or try bracketing your shots. So you get one to take the background, and one of the car. Then bring them together in photoshop.
