Base Price Euro Deliver Munich Pick Up $83,655
A89 Imperial Blue Metallic
ZAWT Cohiba Brown / Black Extended Merino Leather $5,000
ZDA Driver Assistance Package $1,900
ZEC Executive Package $5,500
2NZ 20" M light alloy wheels Style 343M $1,300
6F2 Bang & Olufsen Sound System $3,700
6FH Rear-seat entertainment Professional $2,200
6UK Night Vision with Pedestrian Detection $2,600
Destination & Handling $895
Gas Guzzler Tax (Estimated) $1,300

Total Damage: $108,050.

Need some help from the pro's now.
1) How do we figure out what ED Invoice price is and do the options also have an ED Invoice price or is there only 1 options price list?
2) What does the Cohiba Brown/Black Extended Merino Leather 2nd part mean (Black Extended)? Is this less than the full leather option and why is it more? Should I just go with Full Merino at $3500 and stay Black if that offers a better overall leather package (besides color choice)?
3) Need help picking out a Trim for either the Cohiba and/or the Full Black options?

Giving my dealer the specs tomorrow so he can order whenever the system opens.

Yep. He said he was able to get ED just as quickly as US deliveries (although I think that means by the time I pick it up in Europe, not necessarily by the time it is delivered in the US). We also came to an agreement based off of ED Invoice pricing plus a flat add on.

He is one of the top M Sales guys in the country and my friends have used him in the past so I have reason enough to trust him for the last year and half.

Agree on the Carbon Fiber trim - that would look great. I have it in my Panamera 4S now and I love the heated 1/2 Carbon 1/2 leather steering wheel...

Just read this on the forum, can anyone confirm this with us?
-No more slot for the key. Just keep it in your pocket and press start. I don't have keyless go, so it doesn't work on the doors. Free of charge standard feature. It was explained to me as a safety feature. The key in the ignition would always end up in someones knee/leg during a collission.

Does not look right to me on the individual, on the M6 they charge 5000 for the full individual not extended ?

Was the ED allocation / pricing recent info? Can you reconfirm with your CA? My dealer on the left coast say the m5 must come from dealer allocation and because of that, they only sell at MSRP.

Extended leather is just basic leather. Full leather is the upgraded one that covers the upper dash, seat back, side lower dash etc.

So the rear seat entertainment professional is the one with 9.2 inch screens correct? What about the controller? Loose or iDrive?

Thanks! So it seems really odd that they charge you $1500 more for a particular color with extended leather than they do for full leather of say black...I really like the Cohiba, but am thinking about saving the $1500 and just going full black interior for the better package.

Let's see, what's the figure? $1300 so close to current M3.... 14~16 city / 19~22 highway?
I would have to agree it has to be near the current M3 mpg. Not sure what the cutoff is.

Compared to the 2012 E63 and CLS63 which gets 15city and 22hwy. It does not have a gas guzzler tax. So the mpg has to be below that.

Not that I care what the mpg is, just interesting to talk about it.

What about:

Active Cruise Control ?
Ceramic Controls ?

Both available with regular 5
You think it would be possible to special order those?

It's slightly more complicated than that.

On standard EXTENDED Merino Leather, ALL of the following are BLACK PLASTIC, irrespective of the leather color selected:
(1) Rear of seat backrest
(2) Folding pockets in Black Leatherette (rear of seat backrest)
(3) Upholstery insert door trim (this is Colored Leatherette/vinyl, matching the color of the leather surfaces)
(4) Center Console sides
(5) Door upper-arm trim panel
(6) Instrument panel (upper section)
(7) Instrument panel (lower section)

On BWM Individual EXTENDED Merino leather, EVERY item on the above list becomes leather (i.e. as is similarly the case for non-Individual FULL Merino Leather), EXCEPT for:
(1) Door upper-arm trim panel remains BLACK plastic grained
(2) Instrument panel (upper section) remains BLACK Foil grained (vinyl)

You would think that for the extra $1,500, BMW would also provide their Individual interiors with the Black Leather Upper Dashboard and Black Leather Door upper-arm trim panel that are BOTH leather-covered on the Full Merino (non-Individual) interior option.

You're right -- on the BMW USA website, when building your own M6 Convertible, the $5K BMW Individual interior option is described as being "Full Leather."

In contrast, the new M5 Ordering Guide specifically refers to the BMW Individual interior option as "Extended Leather."
