The brakes are the only real big $$ in the near future. I personally wouldn't pay for the warrantee. You have to purchase before 50k miles. If anything, i'd get extended maintenance before the warrantee.

Only take your wheels to a "touchless" wheel shop. No rim damage that way.

This is one of the cars that I look at for less than 1 second and can instantly fall in love with. What a beast.
They need to have different color options for those brake calipers... |

Ceramic brakes will most certainly be introduced with the M6 models, and then they should be available for the M5 as well.
Best regards, south

Looks so tasty! Hoping for a red caliPer option sometime soon, that blue color looks good on the Monte Carlo Blue and White cars only IMO.

Considering these similar figures, if a moderately equipped F10 M5 goes for $95,000. We'll still be looking at high $60's. Which i guess isn't too bad. The info i wrote above isn't 100% accurate just a consideration. So like you mentioned only time will tell.

The new M5 looks amazing!!!
I am pretty sure I will probably go with a new M5 over the M3 for my next BMW. I'll take mine in Moonstone, Piano Black trim, and I will have to decide on something through Individual for the interior. On the mod list will be Brembos in Moonstone and an Akrapovic Exhaust....... Very similar to my current M3!!! |
