I would NOT look for a bargain basement F10 M5. This is one case where you do want to look for a car w/ a good carfax AND service records. These little independent dealers usually don't have that info; They're just buying cars at auction w/ little knowledge about them.

As a perspective buyer, all you need to do I cruise through the forums to see the difference between well maintained and poorly maintained vehicles.

Don't settle for a bargain deal.

Dude, they're killing you on interest; luckily you're not financing much ($9,500?). I wouldn't do it man. Plus that car has been wrecked on almost every side. That drivers seat looks pretty worn too.

Just as an example - I'm selling my 2015 Comp pack for $46k (asking) w/ 59k miles, I'm the second owner, Car has been CPO all it's life and I have every service record from day one. I'm not saying you should buy my car, I'm just saying there are better examples out there.

I would not even consider this car based on CarFax alone. A 4-owner car with a multi-panel accident that required tow less than 6 months ago and has only about 3K on the odometer since. No warranty on that accident reparation.

Of all F10 M5 produced about 20% were white so there's a great chance you can find another with far better history and condition. Keep hunting and you'll be thankful in the long run. Good luck!

That sounds like pretty extensive damage - involved another car and a concrete barrier and resulted in more than half the car requiring painting. That's a pretty serious red flag to me, and given it is on the Carfax it taints the vehicle for life.

IMO the driver's seat looks commensurate with age (ie what I would expect on a car with 74k miles). It looks like it could do with a bit of a leather clean and I would expect it to come up reasonably well given the age.

and i said drop it for the cost of new pipes... they dropped it to 39....

called me back gave me the run around on financing it ....
got me financed and said we have to charge the full 41k....
i said HELL NO got them back to 39500 after agreeing with pain half the fees...

but now i check the car fax out and this appears !!!!

don't mess with that, 30k down and they're wanting to stick you with a 13% interest rate? that doesn't make any sense...
talk with a local bank and see if they will finance you. I went to my credit union and got my loan through them. I purchased my car from Washington and I live in Indiana. there is some waiting time to ship the check, or you could wire it but I don't like the unprotected funds side of things. I also didn't check the carfax on the car you're looking at, 1 accident is too many, I know people buy these cars and are fine with accidents but for that price and that accident they're way off the mark on pricing.
I know the wait will kill you but man that's a bad accident and its priced like there wasn't one.
if you are still considering it do an inspection
lemon squad is pretty popular and does a good job or talk to a dealership local to them and have it inspected there

dont cheap out just pay the premium for a nice one, its worth it and you dont have to worry about anything since it will have a warranty

Just little reminder that mines still up for sale if you're interested. We can work out the shipping issue as well. Also I got stock downpipes if you need them in NY.

I'm confused. Have you bought the car, put $30k down and agreed to the high interest rate already?
