I've stayed Singapore for almost 7 years and all I could say is that cars there are VERY expensive! Space there is VERY limited, that's why the government limit cars on the road. Public transportation however is top notch!
Back in 1998 when the e36 M3 was still in production, it cost more than $150,000 Singapore dollars. That's about $124,000 US dollars. Nice collection of cars btw Ben. |

Hi cs4444 there is no comparison between these 2 as one is a true sports car and the other a sport sedan. The M5 0- 100 km/h in 4.4 sec and the Ferrari 0-100km/h in 3 sec plus. I think is not fair to compare this 2 cars

Ben
Sorry for all the questions. Like I said before, I am also waiting for an f10 m5. I keep changing my mind on options. Did you get the 19 or 20 wheels? What trim inside and what other high level options did you go for? |

phish_100 I highly recommend the 20" . I have the chance to drive the 19" and 20" on the test car I drove and I found the 20" to be better.

Ben,
Thank you so much for sharing your experience and your collection. Very inspirational. I ordered my first M car (2012 E92 M3) and am anxiously awaiting delivery. I know one day I'll hold a picture of that car like you did with your E46. Three questions for you: 1. What are the speed limits in Singapore? Are they tightly enforced? 2. Do you service and maintain all your vehicles yourself or do you have someone take care of that for you? Where do you take them (especially the 458)? 3. Is petrol expensive there? What is the average price of a liter of petrol? Thanks again |
