Hi sharif and bm5bullit.
My ecu left yesterday and will arrive Monday. I will get them back on Wednesday. I'll get some testing done by that weekend. Believe me it's worth it guys. Bruno and his team got it right. Gunders car runs. Bullit-- I'll be back in Israel later this year prob in august. I'm hoping for at least 3 weeks. I always have a great time there. Last edited by boots; 02-20-2015 at 02:48 PM.. |

Exactly which is going to be a massive difference! My car was stock when I did the remap so it was clear where the power came from in the tune.. With all your mods your car is going to be a beast! I'm expecting at least 740hp at the crank.

Updated Dyno results at EAS
I went to EAS today to Dyno my F10 M5 again as we did not post Dyno results for a 5th gear pull.
My M5 produced 612 whp and 625 lb ft of torque - all with a stage I tune from BR Performance. Thats over 700 hp at the crank, assuming 15% power loss through the drivetrain. Other than the remap, the car is still stock. The car topped out at 169mph in 5th gear - proof that the limiter has been successfully removed. Thanks very much to Steve for undertaking the Dyno. Having my M5 dyno'd at EAS provides credibility to the results posted IMO. Thanks to BR Performance for a great remap!

Hi all,
for the guys @M5 Forum, we don't spend much time here but I would like to say the following: BR-Performance and the team would like to thank you all for the trust in our company, we appreciate all the positive mails & PM's we get! At BR-Performance, we always tune every car individual at one of our centers around Belgium & France. We are 'the reference' in Europe but the reason we are not that famous outside these countries is just because we always refused to tune cars that didn't come into our centers. (and no, we already have centers enough, so the US will be no option for us ) Because we were the only onces tuning the BMW's and because some very nice forum members kept asking and insisting to tune their cars, we did agree to tune with some standard remaps for customers sending their ECU's! And however a standard stage 1 or stage 2 mapping isn't bad, it's just not the same quality as an individual remap were we alter the car for hours & hours on our dyno to find perfection. Keep in mind that we will always prefer you coming to our center! If anyone has any questions, I will try and answer them Team BRP Belgium . . .

Your very welcome Br-performance. For those of us who chose to send in our ecu to you are grateful that you guys cracked the code, provided a solid tune and provide us great service. As you already know Rob and Gunder are happy w the way their cars drive. And since I drove Gunders car before he did after receiving the tune I know for a fact that his car runs like a bat out out of hell. Mine arrives late tomorrow and I appreciate how efficient the turn around time was due to my work schedule so be prepared for a review once installed on Friday.
Btw, I told Gunder what you said in our email and had him Brian C. |

Gunder car hit 177 before he had to slow down for conditions. Previous automatic shut down was about 166 so his limiter is off. Mine shuts down about the same speed. So no worries friend. That will be one if the first things I test w proven video.
