Pretty much, it's especially funny when they come back with different numbers everytime. My local dealer is probably the worst of BMW dealerships.
Offer 3k Off, Shake Hands, Paperwork shows MSRP. Not to mention the thing had 700 miles on it, apparently all through test drives. |

I should note that this offer is for a car on their lot...... A bit motivated to sell?? Maybe I'm getting too greedy, we shall see. |

Im curious when people quote pricing as $1500 over invoice, are they including the unavoidable $900 destination charge and the $1300 gas guzzler? Or just what base msrp would be? Im assuming its not included.

Quoted prices are usually with both of those charges. Go to bmwconfig.com it'll give you invoice and msrp for both us and euro deliveries. I've always double checked my quoted prices from that website.

So, after convincing myself not to wait for the LCI, I decided it would be a good idea to start looking now for a dealer vehicle - I'm sure they will be really motivated to move a 100K vehicle before year end. Using info here, I'm going to try for an ED+ price. I found one in the midwest that had an MSRP of 106k, it's down to 99k.

Unless you fly to do delivery stay a night and fly back.. then maybe only 5k in travel.. depends how you like to fly though. Point is, if you are going to do ED, do it for the experience. If the point of ED Is to save money, that's not going to happen.

Have my words OP.
when I first posted here about the prricing with approx. 2k off msrp. ppl told me that is stupid. for some reason they were telling me that taking about 10k off the MSRP is right. at first I was unable to understand these guys but eventually I got about 9k off the MSRP and I this took 2 months of dealing researching and etc. only downside for me was that my credit was poor so I had to go with 3rd party loaner who charges the interest little higher than BMW Canada. 2k off MSRP seems nothing anymore so why not try harder or even mention these facts to your dealer lol |

ED 89,949.00 all in with taxes and fees boys. Didn't pay gas guzzler as the car was ordered before the tax was published.
ED September 7th Sakhir Orange Full Leather (blk) 20" wheels HUD Love the car, and there will always be deals to be had don't get pressured to buy a new car. I offered cash done deal no haggle! Good luck! |

I paid 94,250 (plus 750 off for financing) on a 101,045 msrp. It comes out to about 750 over invoice. I went and did the invoice on the bmwconfig and told my dealership I knew exactly what it cost them to get the car etc. I likely could have gotten it for 500 over invoice but my dealer had to go and get it from another dealership (it actually was still on the water and not on the other dealers lot yet), so they needed to make a little themselves on the sale since the other dealership was getting the initial 500 over invoice. I figured 250 wasn't a big deal hahah
Sounds like there are deals to be had. There are some used cars coming out on the market as has been brought to our attention or should I say "beat to death" by certain Dinan 550 owners on here. However, with the prices people are getting for the new cars you are only saving a couple thousand buying something with 3-5k miles on it. Car should be here in a couple days and I have the cosmetic mods just waiting to go. I'll post a ton of pictures! |

Remember I did ED the MSRP was 83,665.00, not including the adds on's. Also helped I ordered before the gas guzzler tax was approved when I paid for the car. Deals a deal. Dealers always want to see cars. I never have a problem with waiting the new car smell does not make me itch.
