Have run my 4s's in a proper downpour for the first time and they are superb traction in the wet. Can't comment on Nitto's as don't think they are for sale in this country.

Based on many comments i ended up ordering 4S's for my rears instead of replacing them with the NT555 G2 or PZeros. I am not looking as to what is best for track or racing more for daily street use with the occasional press it down and not get a ton of spin. Hence why i asked the question on the NT555 G2.

A mature decision if I may say, this is exactly the reason I had mine fitted rather than any others.

The PS4S has a better tread-wear The PS4S is an all-season tire The PS4S is quiet The PS4S is much cheaper The R888R has a better grip (in dry conditions - Needs preheating) The R888R wears out in about 5,0000-7,000 miles (not ideal for a daily commuter) The R888R is expensive compared to the PS4S The R888R is louder compared to the quiet PS4S In short, for daily use go for PS4S, and for a drag/racing event use R888R. That's my 0.02$

The PS4 is not really an all season tire, in some countries you can wear it all year around. But not in Scandinavia, Scotland, Canada to name some.
I wish it was that good. |

People who have got 305/30 PS4S, did you go with normal 305 or the N0 Porsche 305 variant?
Stock 305: 12.3 section width, 11.2 tread width Porsche spec 305: 12.3 section width, 11.6 tread width. Porsche tends to oversize their tires to the max... i.e. their 245 front tires are near the size of 265 normal spec tires. |

Im assuming no one has ordered the PS4S ..... AO type? i.e. Audi tires.
I had to double check my order then (in a panick!), - I didnt have an NO or AO on the tire code on my order....!! Phewww. Will the tire shop face any difficulties fitting them? Get them fitted on Thursday morning. Cant wait.

I can do that no problem, its quite funny but I had to drive the PS4's in snow - and they did remarkably well (unprovoked that is), temp was only +0,5C - yes it snowed alot here yesterday, but its nearly all gone now.
I will get you a pic on the weekend - its not my daily, and parked off site.

Has anyone checked the fitment of the PS4 305's for rubbing on the struts at full compression, thats running a CP car? i.e. turned the tire fully to one side and inspected wether or not there are any "scrapes" on the inner side walls?

Who are fitting the tyres for you or are they just tyre fitters with negligible tech knowledge.

It’s a tire shop, but they weren’t the ones asking - I saw a comment that someone on 305 R888r’s had rubbed against the strut at high speed and ever since then I’m a little bit concerned about the safety aspect of high speeds on PS4’s with 305 width. I think it was Rak on the WhatsApp discussions.

I know on non CP they're fine though on a 1cm dropped suspension CP then yes I see your point with different struts which may be shorter and even wider keeping with the 'comp' title.
