God knows anymore...I have a brand new 2012 650, took delivery in 8/2012, it's been back & forth in service, just picked her up yesterday. Now the M5, might as well camp out there

My M5 was struggling, won't even go over 25mph/1,000 rpm. It was shaking like mad, pulled over twice to restart. If you see on the news, an Asian girl sitting next to a white M5 bawling out her eyes next to a street curb in southern California, that would be me...

I hope you pick up yours this Friday. Thus, thanks (no thanks) to Sandy, I hope you'll get your M5 soon. Please share pics.

Mine was supposedly an error. Haven't driven the car much since I got it back due to weather. I am having the breakin service done Saturday. Hoping everything goes ok.

Good luck on your car. Let us know. Btw what percentage tint?

Nope as of today November 1st 2012, I DO NOT have my car back yet from Euro Delivery. I ordered the car on May 10th 2012, and took Euro Delivery of it on Sept 1st 2012.

Takes more time for us West Coasters, and BMW did tell us originally it would take 8-10 weeks for re-delivery. The worst part is knowing that the M5 is at the VPC right now doing God knows what. The only good thing is knowing that no-one on the West coast has their car back yet from ED, so at least I know I'm not the only one.

Thanks cmhsam, I hope my M5'll be ok, so far, no diagnosis as of of yet...

Tint; med in the front, dark in rear passenger & back.

Please share your post-break-in-service after Saturday, I'm sure it'll be fine.

Wow. I'm about to throw mine on a boat in a week or so. But I will be picking it up from the port in b-more. I'm hoping a 3-4 week delivery as the latest. Based off most of the east coast stories thats what I have been hearing. Hopefully they are reading it bed time stories at the VPC each night while it's away from you.
