I just ordered my 6 as well yesterday but I got the blue casing. ETA 2 weeks from yesterday. I am upgrading from a Series 2 so I am sure I am going to love it. I also was missing having the LTE that I previously had and actually used a bit so that will be nice to have back.
I notice a significant improvement in responsiveness compared to my 4th Gen Watch. One thing I already noticed is I can now watch (and hear) a video iMessage right on the watch. Not sure if that's unique to 6th Gen but I couldn't do that on my old Watch.

Mine takes 5 seconds to respond to anything, even just a button press or touching the face. I am expecting a large improvement One and a half more weeks to wait cause I wanted the new blue one.

Strange... my series 0 is 5 years plus old and still has no issues.

Woke up to low tire pressure. $600 later.....two new rear tires. I'm more upset that I wasn't prepared for this so I could go do donuts and shred the current tires before install. Dmn.

Is that 1/4 an 8" hlf72? If so, that's my favorite. Small, light and maneuverable, I use it for everything unless I absolutely need the leverage of my 13" 3/8.

...besides the lack of updates since support ended at least a year ago now?

I was using my Series 0 as my "night" (sleeping) watch up until last year, when the battery swelled up and pushed the lens out of the case. Figured it was a good time to "upgrade" my day watch to a stainless Series 5, and relegate my gray ceramic-cased Series 3 to night duties.

My DW has a Series 2 stainless. I should really twist her arm harder about swapping her Series 2 for my ceramic Series 3, without mentioning that it is an Apple Watch Edition that cost me (which translates to cost us) $1,350 and it seems silly for me to only use it while I'm sleeping.....

Picked one up also, but I'm too cheap for the fancy bands. I got the standard solo loop. I like it better than the none loop one, but I'm not a huge fan of either because the material makes my wrist sweat. I just buy fabric ones from Amazon in many colors for cheap.

I was hoping the sleep app would be better and would integrate with the oxygen meter, but it seems pretty basic. I've been using pillow for sleep tracking on my series 3 and it gives a lot more data.

A new pair of KEF LS50 Meta arrived at my doorstep yesterday, so of course I set them up and started their break in. While I've listened to the LS50 Meta in the KEF Music Lounge at headquarters; having them in my own home is how I truly get to know any piece of gear.
Call me biased, but LS50 Meta is an absolutely amazing monitor. So cool that their price is affordable. I truly can't wait to get an active pair of Metas (LS50 Wireless II) for my office!

I'm still waiting to be able to send mine in for an upgrade

Was going to months ago, and decide to hold off. Ended up screwing myself.

The previous-generation LS50 was already a spectacular monitor. Stereophile Magazine's annual Recommended Components bible gives the original LS50 their highest rating an "A (Restricted Extreme LF)" and at $1500/pr is far less expensive than any other loudspeaker achieving this rating. One popular reviewer recently called the original LS50 "the best loudspeaker released in the 21st Century." Can praise get any higher?

https://www.stereophile.com/content/...n-loudspeakers

The new LS50 Meta is completely redesigned and the improvement is NOT subtle. Transparency, detail, and output are all very much improved. The best part is the price is the same $1500/pair. KEF dealers in my area of responsibility are super psyched because they know KEF has delivered a spectacular value in a true audiophile-worthy monitor.

Apple Watch 6 40mm GPS (No cellular)

So far I like it a lot. The screen blows away the screen on my Garmin Fenix 5 and for most uses I think it's equal to the Garmin , if not better. And having full email, Whatsapp, and Messages right there on the watch beats the tiny notifications I could get on the Garmin. The remote control for the camera in my iPhone is pretty cool, although other than the occasional selfie out on a bike ride, I don't know how often I'd use that.

Gotta say even without hearing it that's a beautiful monitor.

I use it when on road trips with the wife and there is nobody around to take a picture of us. Instead of setting a timed shot and running into place you have a little more control and can see to make sure you're centered and everything.

I don't use the Camera Remote often but it's handy.

My absolute favorite Apple Watch function is to ping your iPhone so you can find it. I probably use this feature at least a couple of times a week.
