Finally getting around to get my ambient lighting change moving.
Changing light distribution on this door but gives the general idea. Does OEM orange as well if I'm not feeling particularly disco disco that evening. Door panel not all the way back on in pic, was just testing

Thanks
Will post a bunch up soon as it's done. Not a difficult DIY and there's a few different routes you can go if you want to change it up. The info is scattered around the web, will try to consolidate all of it in a thread.

Both rear doors done. Hope to have the fronts done by the weekend. Couple pics with garage light on and off, also in relation to the front door OEM brightness.
Can be dimmed same way OEM is. I'll link the thread once I write it up. Floodlamps were swapped to LED in the rear at the same time. That's why floor so lit up in rear

Here you go. Turned out better then I expected actually. The most difficult part is taking off door panel and unclipping all those notoriously annoying BMW electrical connectors. https://f10.m5post.com/forums/showth...1#post25591991

Its virtually spot on. When I say that, the top tabs aren't 100% perfect but it doesn't matter because when you apply the pushpin tabs to secure it on the bottom and sides to the OEM diffuser, everything is sturdy and it looks like a perfect fit. I'm glad I went this route instead of replacing the whole diffuser, I have gotten a bunch of compliments on it so far.
