There's a tune that does the burbling on the M5 now? That's something I had wanted for awhile after hearing it on my friends M3.
I just upgraded to the OTS Stage 2 v3 tune this past weekend. |

[QUOTE=TheHouseWon;22901440]Either one works. I loaded mine through bm3.
Nice thing about bm3 is that you can have different tunes for different goals (kill mode, burbles for fun, 30 jahre 600 hp tune for OEM-like performance, etc). Takes 2-3 minutes to switch between maps.[/QUOTE Where do you get the tune with burble and the 600hp 40 yahre....does Halim make them as well...thanks |

What is different about v3? Are you running JB4, too? Or just the OTS tune? Did you notice a difference between v1 and v3?

I asked what the differences are between this version and the version 1.0 I originally flashed last year when I got BM3 and didn't get a reply. It was a free update to the map so I flashed it. But I've already shot a message to Halim to find out about enabling the exhaust burble now as well. |

I'll see what Halim has to say once he replies. Him and the BM3 guys are currently helping me sort out why I'm still getting the DME tamper codes in the diagnostics at the moment (according to them, I shouldn't have those codes listed). |

Got two tunes from Halim, one aggressive burble (above) and one mild. They both pull SSOOOO hard. Much better than OTS + JB4/BCM. Will post logs and more videos once i have a little free time on the weekend. All I can say is DON'T WAIT TO TUNE YOUR CAR! |

This is what I want but I am not overly fussed about tuning it more than the OTS stage 2 that I am currently running powerwise as apart from running catless I want to keep it otherwise fairly stock (i.e. Clutches)

The mild burble sounds good. The aggressive isn't my style. I am waiting on Halim to answer so I can get a custom tune. For those who has had experience with HCP, how long does it take to get a tune from them?

Takes 2-3 days... Depends on their workload as they do a LOT of other bmw platforms (N55, S55, N20, etc). |

Thanks for the quick response Won. I'm having DP and exhaust installed at the moment and should be done tomorrow. I dyno'd it with Stage 1 OTS on BM3 before install and will dyno after. Will dyno again after HCP tune to see the difference.
