Very nice runs I was concernd after I read the January issue of Motor Trend and it ran a 12.4 at 114mph. Motor trend was saying how hard it was to use the launch control on the F10. http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...s/viewall.html

I ran my E60 last month without launch control and was very happy to run a 11.74 at 123.86 MPH. I can't wait to go again and try it with launch control.

Thanks for going and running your car as I don't think I will run into one to race here good to see someone pushing the loud pedal at the track

wow man thats crazy - 123 mph. without LC too. i think its safe to say you'd walk the F10 in a roll on race.

You wouldn't have any problems launching since you don't have all the TQ @ ~2000 rpms like the S63 tu does.

he has the 5.7 stroker m5. 500 lbft of torque and over 600 hp.

initial launch might not be as hard but once you hit 4-5000 rpm he'd probably just stay there in one spot in a cloud of smoke if he didnt feather the throttle. lol.

He has ~ 611 hp @ 7500 rpm and 468 lb-ft torque @ 6000 rpm.
The S63tu, has 560 hp between 6,000 to 7,000 rpm and 500 lb-ft torque between 1500-5750.

Where is the majority of the TQ is located is just as important as how much you have.
The TQ on the stroker S85 being so much higher to redline makes it far easier to launch and manage.

The car is bone stock including tires and air pressure .

All runs done in comfort suspension setting, reducing the amount of tire spin do to wait transfer to the rear. Sport plus everything else.

I am not sure how you can assess being "more impressed" with a 60' time just by looking at a timeslip. There are so many variables that need to be answered: how much does the other car weigh? Is it AWD? Is it running drag radials/slicks? What type of gears is it running?

Would it really impress you if the other car was a Mustang with bolt-ons running 4.30 gears and drag radials?

Edit: After reading your other post in the M5 vs 550i thread it now it makes sense why you are more impressed by the other car....because it wasn't an M5... got it...

12.2 @ 106 that's some low trap speed with not such impressive 60 foot.

Congratulatons.. but I fail to see why you would want to post that in here... in a thread about an M5 running at the track.... the more you post the more it looks like you are just trolling or need to justify to yourself that your car is fast...

And driving a RWD is a "challenge"?...maybe YOU need AWD...
