BEAUTIFUL!
Question, what tint is the Platinum interior? The white balance varies on some pics. If you put a white printer paper next to it, is the Platinum somewhat more cream, tan, blueish, grayish, or pure white?

Probably the most gorgeous of BMWs leathers. When I had a Platinum interior I got lots of glowing comments on it.

Damn. I can't decide if your interior is better or your exterior. This has got the be the most individual F10 M5 in the world. It's truly one of a kind and is done in such a classy way that I seriously think you deserve some sort of award for class, style, and above all else originality and taste! I almost want to fly over there to see your M5 in person. It's almost as if your M5 is too special to be driven. It belongs in a museum!

Stealth, you're absolutely right! There are many beautiful leather colors from BMW Individual and surely it depends on personal taste. But I wanted a comfortable and luxurious interior that doesn't have to hide from a 6 or 7series. And It's not the first time that I have this color of leather in a BMW. I love the Platinum leather ! And I wanted to combine the luxurious interior with the natural athletic character of the exterior of the m5 that I refine with chrome applications. |

I WANTED it to be unique! And indeed sometimes I stand in front of the beast and think I should conserve it for ... later... I don't know. But otherwise it is SOOO MUCH FUN TO DRIVE so that I can' t resist it ! @RPiM5 You're very welcome to come to Germany and see me and of course the beast ! We could let her fly on the Nordschleife. So, PM me when you are again in Germany! |

I doubt that this is the car SCOTT26 was talking about, because it is not the first BMW in this color. I posted a link to a gallery of an F31 in the same color, but a moderator removed it.

I've done about 12k... why? ... BECAUSE I LOVE DRIVING THIS BEAST !!! I CAN'T STAND IT ! Please look at the beginning of the thread. I took delivery on Nov. 9th 2013. I waited and configured my beast over 2 years before I pulled the trigger at my dealer on July 1st 2013. It took them so long at M Gmbh/Individual to confirm the many special individual customizations and their combinations. But as far as I know the "real" production commenced in Sep/Oct. The time for the full leather with contrast stitching was 12 weeks! And now we're waiting for your next BMW ! |

The cream tone is too warm for the monochrome frozen grey look. I wanted to go with Opal White on the Frozen Grey M5 however the BMW USA regional rep denied the request. Silverstone was the closest thing I could get to a cool white. At the time I ordered I hadn't yet met my direct liaison at BMW Individual who later told me that the Opal white was possible and next time I should call him direct.
