- RUS won, but Ferraris look to be pretty close to Mercedes in race pace!
- Kimi would have made it Mercedes 1-2, but picked up 10 second penalty after slow start and bouncing into cars, and finished 5th. - Bearman picked up points again for Haas, second race in a row! Good racing, it was fun to watch.

Think the sprint showed there's some great handling cars and some drivers that can really hustle them. Hope the Ferrari's can give a good race and not have it a MB runaway.

I just finished watching the sprint and qualifying....
That start from Max...Same as what LAW had, the car just bogging down not coming away. Clearly they have serious gremlins. And you see Max and HAD fighting the car all the time. Also tyre wear isn't good, so not surprising that RB now competes with Alpine and Haas, so RB 'might' be the 4th team this year if they do their best. What a demise. That said, the demise of AMR and Williams is of course way worse, that's where the real problems are...Must be really frustrating for the drivers. Great racing from Ferrari in the sprint. That might escalate between HAM and LEC this year at some point... But Mercedes is just the strongest this year. Nice to see ANT grabbing pole.

Anthony Davidson trying to push some narrative Ferrari race pace is on par with Merc is a joke. The only time Ferrari looks remotely close is a few laps on fresh rubber. |

He started P8 at the startgrid and in Turn-1 , MAX was P21 at that moment (!) It looked like MAX's RB22 didn't want to move at the startgrid (!) The RB22 doesn't want to turn and the balance s@cks tremendously... That's why the RB22 tires are gone in a blink of an eye.. The Ford battery is a joke.. I really wonder what works well on this car ?!?! This one is for the French s@cker Pierre Waché => ![]()

It's only been two weekends in but I think some people are jumping the gun a bit too quick. We are in the first year of the new regulations so there's going to be growing pains like the ground effect and turbo-hybrid era - it's just a different kind of pain that the drivers and teams have to get used to and overcome.
If the entire grid, top to bottom, was in complete chaos and no one had a drivable car, it would be one thing but we have Mercedes and Ferrari who seem to have nailed or understood the new regulations better than anyone else (like Red Bull vs. the grid with ground effects in year 1). Take away Mercedes, you can't tell me if the rest of the grid was on par with Ferrari and all you saw was drivers battling for position you wouldn't find the racing interesting from what you see on TV. People seem to be judging based on what their favourite drivers are saying - you and I are not driving the car so that part is highly irrelevant, all I see is Mercedes and Ferrari battling it out no matter how artificial anyone might think the racing is - it definitely isn't any worse than seeing Red Bull enter DRS and fly past another car with ease and then Max winning by 30 seconds because his car was so OP while everyone else was dealing with severe porpoising and couldn't figure out the ground effects early on. We don't know if this era is going to get better, stay the same or even get worse but we're only 2 weekends in so it's too early for people to be complaining. Even if RUS/ANT/LEC/HAM were all BS'ing about liking the car, it seems like they're the ones having fun because their teams built a car for them to compete, looks like the rest of the grid need to do a better job developing their car for their drivers. No doubt about it the racing has for the most part been good. The issue is the underlying reason for the passing and re-passing is drivers with big batteries and not drivers with big balls. It's not like 2025 was a snooze fest.
