Well, I went and checked on progress.
Couple of weeks and it should be back home.

How to put this gently....
Back in October I came out of the office building after work and found my car covered in gravel, grit and small pebbles. Turned out that some numb nut with a high pressure washer had washed the bus stop next to my office building, where my car happened to be parked behind that day. The result was that he blasted all the grit, sand and pebbles from the ground all over my car. Needless to say I was not impressed. After some discussions with the responsible company, this ended up as an insurance case. The damage assessment was basically to repaint 3/4 of the car. The driver side was not covered (fenders, doors and sideskirt) also got a new windshield. The damage was assessed to 9000 euros, I have to pay an extra 1800 to get a full respray, which I did. The paint shop expect the insurance job to be more, might end up as a 14-15.000 Euro job, but the car will be "as new" or better when I get it back. This is a very good paint shop so the finish will be "concourse worthy". Sucks that it happened, but my car will look better that ever once I get it back. I'm having clear protective wrap put on exposed places, and I'm wrapping the roof gloss black, and an M-Performance inspired black vinyl on the side skirts, might go for a black lower part of the rear bumper too.

I’m speechless. People are clowns.
I just recently had my car done to get it back to mint condition. Full respray of all high impact areas that had small rock chips (front bumper, side skirts, side mirrors, and lower front fenders/rear bumper. I then had all the newly painted surfaces clear wrapped in Expel. It wasn’t cheap, but the car is now in better than new condition. Excited for yours - I hope it’s perfect! |

This is what I came out to, car was cleaned the day before.
Went back in to front desk and one of the afternoon crew had seen that the guy was doing the cleaning around 2PM when he came in for work. Called the bus company, they did not maintain the bus stops, called the company that maintained the bus stops, but they had not done any cleaning our area that day, and they did not even have that bus stop. Turned out this bus stop was actually owned by our office building owner, so contacted the building rep, and they had indeed ordered the cleaning, but was about as impressed as I was that they had done it with cars parked that close. I had the responsible party identified, and then it was just about getting this fixed, it's covered on the cleaning companies insurance.

Meisterschaft 90mm catless downpipes. Had some initial problems but it's all sorted now. Sounds amazing!

Actually no, just preventative maintenance. I'm changing spark plugs and ignition coils anyway, so I'm also changing the ignition coils. My car has close to 100k miles, it's a measure for piece of mind
