I have removed the mechatronics unit.
There is heavy build-up at the sensor pickup locations. I am going to clean these areas and re-install the unit. There is a complete seal and bolt kit that needs to be used in this service repair. I'll update as I move forward. |

When this happened to me the only fix was a different DCT and I swapped in my TCU to keep the VIN aligned

Forgot to upload this pic as well.
This sensor pickup location is attached to the physical gear itself. It also has material collected on it that can influence a reading To note, my clients issue is intermittent. If this cleaning works, it would be a good idea to perform at time of DCT clutch upgrade. We'll see by end of this week if the cleaning service works or not. Fingers crossed |

No, I'm browsing the forum on a PC... the forum severely compresses and resizes (smaller) photos you attach. Hosting them elsewhere would be great.
Original full resolution pictures would be most helpful for those needing to deal with this in the future so details can be seen. 500x375 pictures are postage stamps by today's standards. |

No other codes. There was some gunk.. but then again the DCT would adapt fine (meaning the sensors were working).
