Wheels look great! Did you buy these from Tony?

Tony's part of our S. Florida ///M group so I recognized the wheels right away. I'm waiting on an early June allocation to order a 19' F90 Comp Pack so more than likely my part-out will take place after the summer.

This is rw Carbon. Fit like a glove. Got a lip and diffuser for the X5 too, put those on today as well. Not as good fitment on the X5, waiting for reply from rw regarding those.

Had my rod bearings changed at 43k miles. The guys at the shop found some miniature shavings in the oil filter while doing an oil change and I decided not to take any chances. It seems only one of the bearings had noticeable wear.

Interesting, thanks for the pictures. Very pro-active, more than most of us would do I think.

The cost was around $2k, but I guess labor is much cheaper here. I'll have to look up the invoice to see if it has the OEM parts list.
Rod bearings have been an issue since the E60 M5 and I think I've seen a few threads around here about spun bearings on the F10 as well. The best way to check on their condition is to cut up the old oil filter after an oil change and look for any metal specks/shavings. If you see any, it's time to change the bearings. I changed the bearings on my E60 a few years back, at around the same mileage (48k miles) and they looked slightly worse than the F10s: The guys at the shop also asked me if I wanted to switch to 10W60 oil, as some other M cars they service had already made the switch, due to excessive oil consumption with 0W40. I've decided to stick to 0W40 as I have no excessive oil consumption so far - 1 quart between oil changes (usually ~6k miles).
