Thank you Vic. I know McLaren has never been your cup of tea but this is one you may enjoy driving. The steering feel reminds me of the GT3. Total change in feel of the car form the 650S.

Oh its always in the back of my head... I just need a daily driver to replace the FF and the Mac is a low mile "event" car even though you drove yours 5k right? (650s).

Yeah I get it. I do drive mine. I put 5K on the 650S and 5600 on the Huracan. Hard to replace the FF for a daily driver. Mine is now the Z07 which I know is a long stretch from your taste. Shockingly, I ended up loving the car. It's a fun novelty for now. Only thing that comes to mind is another TTS perhaps.

Maybe I do that route? I have a partnership with GM so I can score one...


Tell me if I'm wrong but I heard the 650S was just a modified example of the 12C while the 675 is the complete change. You have had all 3 (the only person I know of here).

The 650S was a step up yes. Improved steering and most noticeably, a change in linear power delivery that was massively needed. The 12C was sort of unrefined in the way it accelerated. It sort of came on like a freight train. The 650S was a remarkable car. Fun to drive, very fast and very comfortable. The 675 is just a huge leap in all directions. changes to many different things that add up to an entirely better car. The steering, as I mentioned, has very much more feel and is obviously engineered towards having a track oriented behavior. The suspension is tighter and ride is a bit more stiff. The aero is insane. Where the 650S would begin to feel very light, as in scary, at high speeds, the 675 is planted firmly. The car rides lower and handling is amazing. The gearbox is one of the biggest leaps. When in sport or track mode it throws you forward. I have to say that this is the first car that I would put up against the PDK-S in terms of shift speed and feel. But the most impressive thing about this car is the sheer force at which it accelerates. Man it is exhilarating. I fond myself doing short little runs just to feel the rush. I took it out against a buddy's 12c that's tuned to 725/600 and I beat him on both runs. You should have seen his face. some cars you can tune to get the most out of them and some are just built for speed. This thing is truly the wildest car I have ever driven. "Baby P1" as some people call it is appropriate. And weighing in at just over 2,900 lbs is pretty insane as well. :-)

My buddy is alive and finally showed his Christmas present! Very nice ride im still waiting to drive it!! Boy if I had your cash I would get me a toy

Ha funny. Just trying to ge out of NY now the weather is crazy here can't see the ocean from the beach condo You need to come up one day the place is empty for 6 months of the year. Driving sucks, and the salt eats up your car.

Why are you replacing the FF Vic, has it lost its luster? Or it it just part of the regular 6-8 month cycle lol?
