Hands down the nicest and most functional parts on the market....plus @m6beast is the most helpful guy around.....He helped me throughout the whole process in getting my meth kit ordered, installed and tuned....

@M6beast can the BMW meth box program/box be used with out the BMS piggy pack hooked up since i have Dinan piggy back? how would i go about this?
Not doing it yet but just thinking out loud =P

How did the M6 run with the intake in the 1/2 mile event ? Didn't you say you were going to run it ? Got any Vbox 60-130 and half mile data ?

Also did a tune and I think it made my car slower. So that's another mess up I did. Sometimes you think you're doing better but you end up doing worse. The reason I did it was for the limiter, but that didn't work either. As of now doing some testing, put the car back to stock DME software will get a base and play with a tune and BMS settings. Once all complete ill give a revue I took it to the track and I was right. Cooler temps 70F and the best I could get was 11.3 @ 127mph I knew it wasn't pulling like before. It might be the boost is too high for the aggressive tune. I tuned it back to stock DME and will do some tests. Will run some Vbox and Dyno then will retune and play with the BMS in increments and find the best setting. I can say the M6 surprised alot of people. With all my products on the car people were amazed with the sound and performance. A couple people told me best sounding car the whole weekend. I understand what your saying but I did a reflash for the limiter which made good gains with BMS on stock boost. But when I used my meth set up is seemed strong but not as strong as before. I did this a week before my race for the limiter and didn't get a chance to do some true tests.
After the race I took it to the track and there it was way off form my 11.3 and 129 averages and best if 11.0 @ 129-130 Now its back to stock will readapt with meth and BMS Dyno and go to the track again. The car always felt strong all the way to redline and between gears especially with the new intake. I think what happened was it was pulling timing up top do to the more aggressive tune. I thought te car needed time to adapt before the race but actually it was hurting it. I will get some real data. There's another 1/2 in Florida I plan to go to so hopefully ill have enough time to prepare for it in limiter and performance |

Well all the filters and adapters should be in this week. One problem adaptor is on back order so looks like gonna have to build one, another cost I didn't want to have.
But in the mean time kind of have an idea where MSRP will be which will include predyno, in house install, all products and shipping. For the first 10 I will be giving a discount with all the above included. So will let you know a final once custom adapters are made. |

Installed my R&D intake on a guys M5 yesterday for him to give his own opinion and also planning to take his car to the track to see if he can break the 12 second mark.
His average runs are 12.0-12.1's 120 mph with 1.98-2.1 60ft. I feel the intake will knock off a couple tenths of a second if fully adapted. We see the results hopefully this week |
