There's confidence, but perhaps also a factor of 70k car can be seen as a "I'm a douche and need to compensate for something" without the gold digging allure of you compensating with a 300k car.

I would say depends on who she is. Most of gals don't like douche type of guys. Some do love douche type of guys.
Out of all the dates I had, I think about 5% likes douche type of guys.
Biggest thing in common with those 5% from my experience was, they do LOVE to talk about themselves and her friends.
